This app is used to check passbook. Now instead of this app, customers will have to use PNB One App . According to the information given on the PNB website, the existing mPassbook app will be closed on December 1, 2023. This service will now be available on PNB One App.
What is mPassbook app?
mPassbook app is the digital avatar of the physical passbook. In this, customers can easily view their MIM statement and complete transaction history from the mobile app. No transactions can be done through this app, it is only for viewing passbook details.
Whereas, PNB One App is a mobile app of Punjab National Bank. In this you can avail many other banking facilities including checking balance as well as transactions, viewing passbook details, applying for credit and debit cards.
How to register in PNB ONE App?
- You should have an active account of Punjab National Bank along with a mobile number in it.
- Then you have to download PNB One App from Google Play Store or Apple Store.
- Open PNB One App and click on New User.
- After this enter the account number and select mobile banking.
- Now OTP will come on the registered mobile number. Enter it and proceed further.
- With Debit Card/Without Debit Card/Through Aadhaar OTP, click on any one of these three options.
- If you choose the option with debit card, you will have to provide card details. However, if you register without a debit card, you will have to provide account details.
- Now set your login and transaction password.
- After this your registration will be done and user ID will come through message.
- Now with its help you have to ‘Sign in’ and set the MPIN. Now you will be able to use PNB ONE App.
