PM Kisan 17th installment: Crores of farmers of the country are eagerly waiting for the 17th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had released the 16th installment of PM Kisan Yojana on February 28, 2024. In this installment, an amount of more than Rs 21,000 crore was released to more than 9 crore beneficiary farmers. PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme was started on February 24, 2019. This installment of PM Kisan is directly transferred to the bank accounts of the farmers. Modi government transfers Rs 6000 every year to the bank accounts of landholding farmer families under PM Kisan Yojana. This amount is given in three equal installments of Rs 2,000 each. This helps the farmers to meet the expenses required for farming.
When will the 17th installment of PM Kisan come?
The installment of PM Kisan Scheme is released every four months. That means 3 installments are released in a year. The first installment is released between April to July, the second installment between August to November and the third installment between December to March. The first installment of the current financial year 2024-25 is now to be released. Since the 16th installment of the scheme was released in February, the 17th installment is expected to come in May. According to some reports, it may be released in the last week of May. To avail the benefit of this scheme, it is necessary to complete e-KYC.
Check your name in the list of beneficiaries like this
- Step 1. Go to the official website of PM Kisan https://pmkisan.gov.in/.
- Step 2. Click on the ‘Beneficiary list’ tab located in the right corner of the home page.
- Step 3. Select details like State, District, Sub-District, Block and Village from the drop-down list.
- Step 4. Click on the ‘Get report’ tab.
Now you will get information about the beneficiary list.
Farmers can get PM Kisan’s e-KYC done in 3 ways
- OTP based e-KYC: Farmers can complete this KYC through PM Kisan Portal and mobile app. In this you will have to go to PM Kisan Portal. Now click on e-KYC in the ‘Farmers Corner’ section. Enter your Aadhaar number and password and submit.
- Biometric based e-KYC: This mode is available at Common Service Centers (CSC) and State Seva Kendra. For this you will have to go to your nearest CSC center with your Aadhar card and Aadhar linked phone number. There you fill the given form. There, the CSC operator will complete your biometric based e-KYC.
- Face Authentication Based e-KYC: In this you can get your e-KYC done through PM Kisan mobile app. For this, download PM Kisan Mobile App and Aadhaar Face RD App from the App Store. Open the app and log in through PM Kisan registered mobile number. Now you will go to the beneficiary status page. Click on e-KYC. Enter your Aadhaar number and scan your face. In this way e-KYC will be completed.
