Today, on 28th February, the 16th installment will be given to the farmers under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-Kisan). This installment will be transferred directly to the bank accounts of the farmers. This information has been given by the government to the beneficiary farmers through the official PM Kisan website and its social media channels.
Rs 2000 will be transferred today
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 16th installment of PM Kisan Yojana today. Rs 2,000 will come to the farmers’ bank accounts. This scheme provides financial assistance to small and marginal farmers. Now this is the 16th installment. It is mandatory to complete eKYC to avail PM Kisan benefits. You can do this through PM Kisan Portal or by visiting your nearest CSC centre.

Step 1: Visit the official website of PM Kisan www.pmkisan.gov.in
Step 2: Click on the ‘Beneficiary List’ tab.
Step 3: Select State, District, Sub-District, Block and Village from the drop-down.
Step 4: Click on the ‘Get Report’ tab.

e-KYC
It is difficult to get money in PM Kisan Yojana without e-KYC. Farmers can do e-KYC through OTP by visiting the official website of PM Kisan pmkisan.gov.in. Apart from this, this work can be done by visiting the Common Service Centre. Recently the government has launched a mobile app for e-KYC. Through this also farmers can do e-KYC sitting at home.
