PM Kisan 16th installment date 2024: On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to distribute the 16th installment of PM Kisan scheme. But only the applicant farmers who fulfill the conditions under the scheme will get its benefit.
To meet the farming expenses of small farmers of the country, the Central Government is running PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana since 2019. Through this, farmers are given Rs 6,000 annually in 3 installments to facilitate the purchase of fertilizers, seeds and other farming works for Rabi and Kharif crops.
Till now, 15 installments have been distributed under this and tomorrow on 28th February i.e. Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to distribute the 16th installment of the scheme (PM Kisan 16th installment). But only the applicant farmers who fulfill the conditions under the scheme will get its benefit. For this, farmers have to give some of their details and get e-KYC done. Till now crores of farmers have been registered for this scheme. All registered farmers are given a registration number, which is important to avail the benefits, but if the beneficiaries of PM Kisan Yojana have forgotten their PM Kisan Registration Number, then they can find it with the help of the steps given below.
How to see PM Kisan Registration Number?
- To know PM Kisan Registration Number, follow these steps-
- To know your PM Kisan Registration Number, first go to the official website of PM Kisan
- https://pmkisan.gov.in/.
- After this click on “Beneficiary Status” in “Former Corner”.
- After this a new page will open in front of you where there will be an option of “Know your registration no” in the top corner, click on it.
- After clicking on this option, a new page will open in front of you where you will have to enter your registered mobile number and OTP. After this your PM Kisan registration number will appear on the screen.
PM Kisan e-KYC
The government says that the benefit of PM Kisan Yojana will be available only to those farmers who have got their e-KYC done. Apart from this, the conditions of land verification and linking of Aadhaar with bank account are also kept in it. After the launch of this scheme, it was also seen that some people who are not eligible for the benefits of this scheme are still taking the benefits of this scheme wrongly.
Therefore, the government has brought the provision of PM Kisan e-KYC through which it is verified who is eligible to avail the benefits of this scheme and who is not. Along with this, with the help of KYC, the government also has the data of beneficiary farmers. If the PM Kisan beneficiary does not remember or does not know whether his e-KYC has been done or not, then he can also find out on the official website of PM Kisan.
How to check PM Kisan e-KYC Status?
Farmers who are beneficiaries of PM Kisan Yojana can check the status of their KYC. For this they will have to go to pmkisan.gov.in. If you go down a little here, you will see Farmers Corner. The first option in this will be e-KYC. Click on it. After this OTP based e-KYC will be written and you will be asked to enter your Aadhaar number. You will know your status by entering your Aadhaar number. If KVEC is incomplete then you can update it.
How to do PM Kisan e-KYC?
- To do e-KYC, first of all you have to go to the official website of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana – https://pmkisan.gov.in/.
- On the home page you will see an option of Farmer Corner and in it you will get an option of e-KYC.
- Click on the option of e-KYC, an OTP based box will open in front of you.
- Here you have to enter your Aadhaar number.
- After this you will be asked for your mobile number. Please note that you should give only the mobile number which is linked to your Aadhaar.
- After this you have to click on the Get OTP option below, so that OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
- Enter the OTP in the box and submit.
- With this your e-KYC process will be completed and you can avail the benefit of 16th installment (PM Kisan 16th installment).
