Important information for PM Awas Yojana
The benefit of this scheme can be availed only by those who get money for building a house. The person taking advantage of this scheme does not have to have his own house.
Not more than 4 hectares of land should exist in the name of any person applying.
The income of the applicant should not be more than 8000. The area of the applicant’s house should not exceed 200 square meters.
The main objective of the Prime Minister’s Awas Yojana
The objective of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana has been kept to provide the right homes to the economically weak and homeless present in the country of India. And recently our Finance Minister Shri Nirmala Sitharaman has informed that in 2022-23, around 80 lakh houses will be constructed under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
