Green tax orders for plastic-free campaign

To further enforce the drive to make Kodaikanal plastic-free, the Madras High Court recently ordered that tourists, traders and Local sellers will be fined Rs 20 per bottle. This Green Tax will be applicable in Kodaikanal Municipality, Farmankadu Municipality and surrounding villages of Dindigul District, thereby promoting environmental protection.
