PF Interest Rate: Before Diwali, PF account holders have got a big gift. Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has started depositing interest in the provident fund account. For the financial year 2022-23, EPFO subscribers are going to get 8.15% interest rate on investment in PF account.
Let us tell you that interest has already been paid in the accounts of some account holders, but EPFO said that it may take time for the interest amount to be deposited in the accounts of all the account holders.
Union Labor Minister Bhupendra Yadav has said that interest has already been deposited in more than 24 crore accounts. Let us tell you that the PF interest rate is decided every year by the Central Board of Trustees (CBT) of EPFO in consultation with the Finance Ministry. This year, in June, EPFO had announced to increase the interest rate on EPF (EPF interest rate 2022-23).
Let us tell you that once the interest is deposited, it will be visible in the EPF account. Any person can check provident fund account balance through many methods like text message, missed call, Umang app and EPFO website.
