Petrol Diesel Prices: There has been a big change in the retail prices of petrol and diesel released by state-run oil companies on Friday.
Despite the decline in crude oil prices in the global market today, retail oil prices are increasing in many cities. Oil prices have increased in many districts of UP and Bihar today, while a decline is being seen in some cities. However, even today, oil prices are stable in the four metropolitan cities of the country like Delhi and Mumbai.
According to state-run oil companies, petrol is being sold 15 paise cheaper at Rs 94.58 per litre in UP’s capital Lucknow. Diesel has also fallen by 18 paise to Rs 87.68 per litre. In Gautam Buddh Nagar district (Noida-Greater Noida), petrol has become 10 paise more expensive at Rs 94.87 per litre and diesel is being sold 12 paise more expensive at Rs 88.01 per litre. In Bihar’s capital Patna, petrol has increased by 70 paise to Rs 106.11 and diesel has increased by 66 paise to Rs 92.92 per litre.
Talking about crude oil, there has been a slight decline in its prices in the last 24 hours. The price of Brent crude has fallen to $75.02 per barrel. The rate of WTI has also fallen to $71.28 per barrel.
Petrol and diesel prices in all four metros
– Petrol in Delhi Rs 94.72 and diesel Rs 87.62 per litre
– Petrol in Mumbai Rs 103.44 and diesel Rs 89.97 per litre
– Petrol in Chennai Rs 100.76 and diesel Rs 92.35 per litre
– Petrol in Kolkata Rs 104.95 and diesel Rs 91.76 per litre
In these cities,
petrol has become Rs 94.58 and diesel Rs 87.68 per liter in Lucknow.
In Noida, petrol is Rs 94.87 and diesel Rs 88.01 per liter.
In Patna, petrol is Rs 106.11 and diesel Rs 92.92 per liter.
New rates are released every day at 6 am
Petrol and diesel prices change every day at 6 am. The new rates will be effective from 6 am. After adding excise duty, dealer commission, VAT and other things to the prices of petrol and diesel, its price becomes almost double the actual price. This is the reason why petrol and diesel prices appear so high.
