Petrol- Diesel Price Today: Petrol and diesel rates updated on Budget day, check the latest fuel prices

Oil marketing companies have released the prices of petrol and diesel for 23 July 2024 (Tuesday). Since the year 2017, fuel prices are updated every day at 6 am. Since their prices are updated every morning at 6 am, the driver should get the vehicle tank filled only after checking the latest rates.

Their prices are different in all states. Actually, petrol and diesel do not come under the purview of GST. VAT (Value Added Tax) is imposed on them by the state government. The rates of VAT are different, due to which their rates are different in every city.

According to the official website of Indian Oil, the price of petrol and diesel in different cities including metros (Petrol- Diesel Price 23 July 2024)

Petrol and diesel prices in metro cities

  • The price of one litre petrol  in Delhi is Rs 94.72 and the price of diesel is Rs 87.62 per litre.
  • In Mumbai, the price of petrol is ₹ 103.44 per litre and diesel is priced at ₹ 89.97 per litre.
  • In Kolkata, the price of petrol is ₹ 104.95 per litre and diesel is ₹ 91.76 per litre.
  • The price of petrol in Chennai is Rs 100.75 per litre and the price of diesel is Rs 92.34 per litre.

Petrol and diesel prices in other cities

Noida: Petrol is Rs 94.83 per liter and diesel is Rs 87.96 per liter

Gurugram: Petrol Rs 95.19 per liter and diesel Rs 88.05 per liter

Bengaluru: Petrol at Rs 102.86 per liter and diesel at Rs 88.94 per liter

Chandigarh: Petrol is Rs 94.24 per liter and diesel is Rs 82.40 per liter

Hyderabad: Petrol at Rs 107.41 per liter and diesel at Rs 95.65 per liter

Jaipur: Petrol is Rs 104.88 per liter and diesel is Rs 90.36 per liter

Patna: Petrol is Rs 105.18 per liter and diesel is Rs 92.04 per liter
