Fuel prices are different in all cities. This means that there is a difference in the price of petrol and diesel in Patna, Delhi, Noida, Chennai. Actually, GST is not levied on oil prices. The state government levies VAT on it. Because of this, its prices are different in different cities.

According to the official website of Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), what is the latest price of petrol and diesel in metros and cities-

Petrol and diesel prices in metros

  • The price of one litre petrol in Delhi is Rs 94.72 and the price of diesel is Rs 87.62 per litre.
  • In Mumbai, the price of petrol is ₹ 103.44 per litre and diesel is priced at ₹ 89.97 per litre.
  • In Kolkata, the price of petrol is ₹ 104.95 per litre and diesel is ₹ 91.76 per litre.
  • The price of petrol in Chennai is Rs 100.75 per litre and the price of diesel is Rs 92.34 per litre.

  • Noida: Petrol is Rs 94.83 per liter and diesel is Rs 87.96 per liter

  • Chandigarh: Petrol is Rs 94.24 per liter and diesel is Rs 82.40 per liter
