Pensioners have to submit their life certificate every year. Submitting the life certificate means that you are alive. If you have not yet submitted the life certificate, then you can do this work online and offline.
These are the methods of submitting life certificate
1. Life certificate can be submitted through India Post Payments Bank (IPPB). India Post Payments Bank is providing this facility through postman and Gramin Dak Sevak.
2. Pensioners can submit Life Certificate on Jeevan Pramaan portal sitting at home by visiting Jeevan Pramaan portal. Aadhaar regulator UIDAI has given details of all biometric devices to verify the identity of pensioners, which pensioners can see on the website of the Aadhaar regulator.
3. You can avail the facility of doorstep banking by visiting your bank. Life certificate is also submitted under its services. For this, booking is done through mobile app, website or toll free number. Then the doorstep banking agent comes to the pensioner’s home and takes the life certificate.
4. Pensioners sitting abroad can also submit life certificate online through Jeevan Pramaan website.
5. Pensioners can personally submit the life certificate to the Pension Disbursing Authorities (PDAs). If pensioners do not want to be physically present. Then they can get the life certificate signed by a designated official and submit it.
