These websites and apps provide services like filling online applications, scheduling appointments and many more. The Ministry has come to the notice that many fake websites and mobile applications are collecting data from applicants. Therefore, everyone is advised to use the right website for making a passport and avoid visiting fraudulent websites. Also, there is no app or separate website to track the status of your passport application.
The official website to apply for passport is – www.passportindia.gov.in. The ministry has clearly stated on its website that it is the only authorized portal to cater to all passport related needs of applicants across India.
