Under this, now passport verification will be completed in just 5 days. Earlier people had to wait for a long time for verification, but now this facility will complete your passport verification in less than a week.

This facility will be done online. Although this facility is for the people living in Delhi. Earlier, under this facility, one had to wait for 15 days. With this service, people living in Delhi can get passport verification done with the help of their mobile, computer and tablet.

This feature will make your work easier

According to media report, on an average around 2000 applicants get passport every day and the G20 summit is also coming. In such a situation, there will be a different challenge for the Delhi Police. In view of this, people do not have to wait for a long time, this facility has been introduced. Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that this will make people’s work easier.

How will passport verification be done online

  • First of all, you have to register on the Passport Seva Portal.
  • After this you have to login on it.
  • Now you have to go to “Apply for Police Clearance Certificate”.
  • Complete information has to be filled on the new page, after which you can make payment and book an appointment in the next step.
  • Once the appointment is booked, download the printout and take it with you.
  • With all the documents you will now have to visit the local passport center where your appointment has been booked.
