How to Apply for Passport Online on Mobile
First of all download the mPassport Seva app in your phone.
For passport you will have to first register on this app. First click on New User Registration.
Fill your details like name, date of birth, email id and other details to register.
Now create a password. After this enter captcha and submit. Passport Office will send the verification code to your mail. You have to go to your mail and click on it. After that you have to login.
After that first of all you select the option of Apply For Fresh Passport.
First of all, choose the passport office near your area and also check the date of appointment, that when the dates are available.
After this, choose which service you want to avail for passport. That is, you want to get the passport made in Tatkal or Normal form. Normally it takes 15 days for passport to arrive. Tatkal passport is made in 3 days. Normally, police verification happens first. Police verification takes place immediately after the passport arrives.
After that start filling your form. After submitting the form, you will get the date of appointments. After clicking on that date, submit it. After this you have to pay the passport fee online. After that you will get mail and SMS for confirmation.
If you want, you can submit your documents photo ID proof and address proof.
Visit the passport center on the date of appointment and submit your forms. Verification of your documents will also take place there.
After that there will be police verification. Police officers will come to your home and verify the documents.
After all the verification, the passport will reach your home through post in 10 to 15 days.
