Step 3: Fill in your information
After registering, you will have to fill your information. This includes your personal information, Aadhaar card information, and selecting the passport office.
Step 4: Fill the passport application form
After filling your information, you have to fill the passport application form. This includes your family information, educational qualifications, and employment information.
Step 5: Pay Passport Fee
After filling the passport application form, you have to pay the passport fee. You can pay the fee through any mode, online or offline.
Step 6: Book an Appointment
After paying the passport fee, you will need to book an appointment. To book an appointment, you have to click on the “Appointment” link.
Step 7: Visit Passport Office and submit documents
At the time of appointment, you will have to go to the passport office and submit the documents. Documents include:

- Passport fee receipt
- Photocopy of Aadhar Card
- Photocopy of birth certificate
- Photocopy of residence certificate
- Passport size photo
Step 8: Get a passport

Download Passport Seva App from Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
- Login to the App.
- Click on “Application Status”.

3.SMS:
Type 15 digit file number and send SMS to 51969 from your registered mobile number.
You will receive SMS of application status.
4.IVRS:
- Call 1800-258-1800 (Toll Free) or +91-11-24300666 (Landline).
- Follow IVRS instructions.
- Enter your file number and date of birth.
- Your application status will be informed to you.
5.PSK:
You can also check the application status by visiting your nearest Passport Seva Kendra (PSK).
