Annuity is received on the basis of 40 percent of the total contribution deposited by the government servant during the entire service period and the contribution in the fixed ratio of the state government, the remaining amount is paid in lump sum.

When will the old pension scheme be implemented in the state?

Finance Minister Deora further said that this amount is based on the salary and total service period of government servants. At present no proposal for old pension is under consideration.

The Congress MLA had asked the Minister that any action is being taken regarding the restoration of the old pension system after retirement to the officers and employees of the State Government appointed after January 1, 2005, if so, by when. Otherwise why, Deora has answered this question.
