Airtel Payments Bank has tied up with Park+ to provide FASTag based smart parking facility at Lal Bahadur Shastri Airport, Varanasi. Airtel Payments Bank issues FASTag. At present, it takes a long time to pay for parking at the airport and due to this the movement of vehicles also becomes very slow.
FASTag based smart parking solution enables automatic cashless payment at airport parking. This reduces vehicle movement time in the parking area and makes things easier. Parking fee is paid through valid FASTag attached to the vehicle. This reduces the time taken for payment.

Airtel Payments Bank and Park Plus have tied up to provide FASTag based smart parking facility at Lal Bahadur Shastri Airport, Varanasi, said a statement. With this, local residents can now use FASTag on their cars to pay for parking spaces at the Varanasi airport.

Both companies are working together to streamline the payment process to reduce the time spent in queues at major parking lots across the country. Soon this service will be implemented at the airports of other cities as well. Ganesh Ananthanarayanan, Chief Operating Officer, Airtel Payments Bank said that the objective of this partnership is to provide a simple, secure and seamless payment experience to the customers. He said that this would help in saving time amidst the ever-increasing crowd at the airport parking lots and improve the travel experience.
