Noida Airport new update: Air passengers will get EV Taxi service, this auto company has become a partner

Noida Airport new update: Commercial flights will start at Noida International Airport from next year. Once commercial flights start, the focus will also be on the movement and transportation of people.

In such a situation, Noida International Airport has announced a partnership with Mahindra Logistics Mobility. Through this partnership, premium and fully electric vehicles will be used at Noida International Airport. An agreement has been signed with Mahindra Logistics Mobility to make these electric taxis available. The company has announced this.

Fully electric vehicle at the airport

Noida International Airport (NIA) on Thursday announced a partnership with Mahindra Logistics Mobility to provide premium, fully electric taxi services for passengers travelling to and from the airport. Premium pick-up and drop-off facilities will be available at arrival and departure points 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, NIA said.

This is how these taxis will be booked

Passengers will be able to book these services through mobile app, website, call center, airport kiosk etc. Christoph Schnellmann, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Noida International Airport said that we have partnered with Mahindra Logistics Mobility to provide premium, fully electric taxi service to provide seamless and eco-friendly travel directly from the airport to your destination.

Commercial flights will start in April

According to the information, during the trial on the runway, the plane flew in the air for 15 minutes, after that it landed on the runway of Noida International Airport and after 5 minutes the plane took off again. While landing on the runway of the airport in Jewar, the crew members and technical staff of Airport Authority of India and Noida International Airport were present in the plane. Their job is to collect data. This data will be sent to the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). It is believed that the first commercial flight will take off from here in April.

65 flights will fly every day

This airport is being built by Swiss company Zurich International. The company will run this airport for 40 years. The capacity of the first phase is 1.2 crore passengers. From April 17, 65 flights will fly daily. Out of these, 62 flights will be domestic. There will be two international flights and one cargo flight. After completion, this will become the fourth largest airport in Asia.
