Apart from this, the President of India, Prime Minister of India, Chief Ministers, Members of Parliament and High Court Judges also get exemption in toll tax. But do you know that farmers are also given exemption in paying toll tax. However, this exemption is not available everywhere and to all farmers.

After the farmers’ agitation, most of the farmers of the Kisan Union in Punjab have been given exemption in toll tax. Toll tax is not taken from farmers at many toll plazas in the state. However, for this they have to confirm their identity. For this they have to show the Kisan Union card. But many fake people are also avoiding paying toll tax by getting Kisan cards made.

That is why now the toll companies have changed the rules regarding this. They said that now only those farmers will be given exemption in toll, whose vehicle will have the flag of the farmers union.
