Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that through this app, the process of Aadhaar verification has been made as easy as UPI payments. Aadhaar can be verified digitally instantly by just using a QR code. Aadhaar is the basis of many initiatives. In such a situation, the new app will make many things easier.
What will the new Aadhaar app be like?
The new Aadhaar app will be completely secure, which ensures that Aadhaar related data will not be leaked anywhere. Facial authentication can be done through this app. Any person with it will have complete control over personal information. Aadhaar related information will be shared only as much as it is necessary with any other person.
Addressing the stakeholders, the Minister said that how can we combine AI with DPI to drive development. Work on this is also being done in full swing. S Krishnan, Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, said that Aadhaar is enhancing inclusion and helping in economic growth. Aadhaar is a state-of-the-art system that protects privacy and authenticates identity.
UIDAI ready for the future
Dr. Saurabh Garg, Secretary, Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, praised UIDAI for enabling the expansion of Aadhaar usage. At the same time, Bhuvnesh Kumar, CEO, UIDAI said that Aadhaar Face Authentication is becoming the hallmark of the entire authentication landscape. The Aadhaar ecosystem has grown. UIDAI is ready for the future.
