This Vande Bharat will be run from Mumbai to Goa (Mumbai-Goa Route). That is, Goa will get its first Vande Bharat train. This has been confirmed by Union Minister of State for Railways Raosaheb Danve. Maharashtra has 4 Vande Bharat trains out of which 2 were handed over to the state only last month. Maharashtra is the only state within whose limits Vande Bharat is operated.

Rao Saheb Danve had told the MLAs about running the Vande Bharat Semi-High Speed ​​Express train. Maharashtra Legislative Council member Niranjan Davkhare has shared this information with the press. During the conversation with the MLAs, Union Minister Danve said that on the lines of Vande Bharat started on Mumbai-Shirdi and Mumbai-Solapur routes, this train will also be run between Mumbai and Goa.

The work has started, during this the Union Minister also informed that the electrification work on the Mumbai-Goa railway line has been completed. He said that after inspection a new train will be run on this route. Let us tell you that now it takes at least 8 hours to travel from Mumbai to Goa by train. The shortest rail route between Mumbai and Goa is about 412 kms. If Vande Bharat runs on this route, then this journey can be completed in 3-4 hours.

What will be the route, its route has not been disclosed yet. However, it is possible that it will also be taken to Goa via the Tejas Superfast route. Tejas completes this route in 8 hours. Starting from Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, this route reaches Margao via Thane, Ratnagiri and Karmali. Tejas train stops at total 6 stations between CST and Madgaon. It is possible that the stoppages of Vande Bharat will be reduced.
