Today PM Modi will flag off 10 new Vande Bharat trains. After the inauguration of these trains today, the number of Vande Bharat trains will cross half a century. Along with this, the routes of many trains will also be extended. That means, the routes of four existing Vande Bharat trains will be increased.

Routes of which trains increased?
Let us tell you that Railways is increasing the routes of 4 Vande Bharat trains. Railways has told that Vande Bharat from Ahmedabad-Jamnagar will now go till Dwarka. Apart from this, Amjer-Delhi train will run till Chandigarh. Gorakhpur-Lucknow train will now go to Prayagraj. At the same time, Thiruvananthapuram-Kasaragod train will now run till Mangaluru.
Number of Vande Bharat trains will reach 51
With these 10 new trains, the total number of Vande Bharat trains running across the country will reach 51 which will cover 45 routes. Notably, there are now two Vande Bharat trains on six routes, which include Delhi-Katra, Delhi-Varanasi, Mumbai-Ahmedabad, Mysuru-Chennai, Kasaragod-Thiruvananthapuram and after the new inauguration, Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad will also be included in it.
Most Vande Bharats run from Delhi
The number of Vande Bharat trains running from Delhi is the highest. These trains connect Delhi with routes like Dehradun, Amb Andaura, Bhopal, Ayodhya, Amritsar and now Khajuraho. The number of Vande Bharat trains operating from Mumbai is close to 6. Apart from this, 5 Vande Bharat trains will operate in Chennai and 2 in Mysore.
6 new Vande Bharats were started in December
6 new Vande Bharat trains were started in December 2023. In these, many routes like Katra-New Delhi, Amritsar-Delhi, Coimbatore-Bangalore, Mangalore-Madgaon, Jalna-Mumbai and Ayodhya-Delhi were linked together. Apart from this, a second train was started from Delhi to Varanasi.
