New Vande Bharat Train: Indian Railways has started Vande Bharat Train in many states across the country in the last few years. Now the name of another state is going to be added to this list, where the second Vande Bharat train is going to start.

This new Vande Bharat train will be operated between Karnataka’s capital Bengaluru and Chennai. Earlier in 2022, PM Modi had flagged off the Vande Bharat train between Chennai and Mysuru via Bengaluru.

PM will show green flag on March 12

On Tuesday, March 12, 2024, Prime Minister Modi will flag off this new Vande Bharat train running between Bengaluru and Chennai through virtual medium. This information has been given by Bengaluru Central MP PC Mohan. Through this train, the government is trying to improve the connectivity between IT cities like Bengaluru and Chennai.

Vande Bharat will cover the distance in this time

According to media reports, Vande Bharat train will cover the 362 kilometer journey between Bengaluru and Chennai in just four hours and 20 minutes. At present, Shatabdi Express running on this route is taking four hours and 40 minutes to complete the journey. According to the report published in Times of India, the new Vande Bharat train will operate six days a week except Wednesday.

According to the news of Times of India, the new Vande Bharat train will depart from Chennai Central at 5 pm and reach Bengaluru at 9.25 pm and Mysuru at 11.20 pm. The train will depart from Mysuru at 6 am and reach Bengaluru at 7.45 am and then from Bengaluru at 7.45 am the train will reach Chennai at 12.20 am. This is the second Vande Bharat train running on the Chennai-Bengaluru-Mysuru route. Railways has not yet shared official information about the fare of this train.
