Madhya Pradesh may get the gift of another Vande Bharat Express train. The state is likely to get a new Vande Bharat Sleeper train. Railways are making preparations to run the Vande Bharat Sleeper version regularly from Indore to Bhopal via Jabalpur.
Before this, the rake of the Vande Bharat Sleeper version will soon be made available to the Bhopal Railway Division. Its trial will be conducted on the Bhopal to UP-Delhi route. The preparations to conduct the trial of the Vande Bharat Sleeper version equipped with modern facilities in Bhopal after Kota are being finalized rapidly.
The railways have checked the security of the Vande Bharat Sleeper rack by running it at a speed of 180 kmph. Speed trials are being conducted by running this train in all the divisions of the railways. After the successful trial in Kota division, the next number is Bhopal which is proposed in the last days of January.
According to railway officials, the trial of Vande Bharat sleeper version is proposed on the route from Bhopal to UP and Delhi and work has started for this. The team of Railway Safety Commissioner will come to Bhopal and finalize the preparations. After this the trial will be conducted.
Along with this, preparations are being made to run the Vande Bharat sleeper version regularly from Indore to Bhopal via Jabalpur. The Vande Bharat sleeper version has been designed with automatic doors, comfortable berths, on-board WiFi and aircraft-like facilities.
Bhopal Railway Division has claimed that after conducting a survey on the route with the highest number of passengers, a report has been sent to the Railway Ministry. The final schedule of the Vande Bharat Sleeper version train to be operated from Bhopal by the Railways will be released soon.
