Indian Railways: These days, Vande Bharat trains are running in almost all the states across the country . After the chair car, the railways are preparing to start Vande Bharat trains with sleeper version.
Its trials have also been completed and it can be started soon. Meanwhile, a new good news has come. Actually, Indian Railways is preparing to start a Vande Bharat between Mumbai and Mangaluru, through which passengers will reach from one city to another in just 12 hours.
Currently, Vande Bharat trains run on Mumbai-Goa and Mangaluru-Goa routes. However, not many passengers are coming in this, due to which Indian Railways is now planning to merge both the trains and run a single train from Mumbai to Mangaluru. Its purpose is to increase efficiency and increase the number of passengers.
According to media reports, only 40 percent of the seats in Mangaluru-Goa Vande Bharat are being filled right now, due to which the railways first decided to extend this service to Kozhikode, but due to opposition from political parties, this plan was shelved. Currently, Vande Bharat on Mangaluru-Goa route completes its journey in just four and a half hours. On the other hand, if we talk about Mumbai-Vande Bharat train, it also did not get the kind of response that was expected.
Initially, 90 percent of the seats in the train used to be full, but gradually it started decreasing. Now only 70 percent of the passengers are travelling by Vande Bharat on this route. In such a situation, the railways have decided to run both the routes directly from Mumbai to Mangaluru instead of Vande Bharat. It may start soon.
