Rajasthan has got the gift of Vande Bharat Express today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Narendra Modi) has flagged off Rajasthan’s first semi-high speed train, Delhi-Ajmer Vande Bharat Express (Delhi-Jaipur-Ajmer Vande Bharat) today through video conference.
Tomorrow i.e. April 13, 2023, common people will be able to travel in it. With the commencement of this train running six days a week, it will be easier to reach Jaipur and Ajmer from Delhi.
Vande Bharat Express will cover the distance from Ajmer to Delhi Cantt in 5 hours 15 minutes. Currently the fastest train Shatabdi Express takes 6 hours 15 minutes to reach Ajmer from Delhi Cantt. In this way Vande Bharat Express will reach passengers from Delhi to Ajmer 1 hour before Shatabdi. With the start of this train, it will be easy to reach major tourist places of Rajasthan including Pushkar and Ajmer Sharif Dargah. Enhanced connectivity will also boost socio-economic development in the region.
Where will Vande Bharat stop
Delhi-Jaipur Alwar Vande Bharat Express (Delhi-Jaipur-Ajmer Vande Bharat Express stoppage) will be in Jaipur, Alwar and Gurgaon only. It will not stop at other stations falling in between. Vande Bharat will run six days a week and will not operate on Wednesdays.
Time Table 20978 Delhi-Ajmer Vande Bharat Express will depart from Delhi Cantt Railway Station at 6:40 pm (20978 Delhi – Ajmer Vande Bharat Express Time Table). It will reach Gurgaon at 6:51 and will stop here for two minutes and leave at 6:53. The train from Gurgaon will reach Alwar at 8:17 am and will stop here for two minutes. It will reach Jaipur at 10:05. After stopping here for 5 minutes, it will leave for Ajmer at 10:10. It will reach Ajmer at 11:55.
20977 Ajmer – Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat Express will leave Ajmer at 6:20 am (20977 Ajmer – Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat Express Time Table). The train will reach Jaipur at 7:50 am and will stop for five minutes and leave for Alwar. It will reach Alwar at 9:35. Here it will stop only for two minutes. Leaving Alwar, it will reach Gurgaon at 11:15. Here also its stop will be of two minutes only. It will reach Delhi Cantt station at 11:35 am.
Fare The fare for the chair car of 20978 Delhi Cantt-Ajmer Vande Bharat Express (Delhi-Jaipur-Ajmer Vande Bharat Express Fare) will be Rs.1250. It also includes Rs 308 catering charge. And the fare for the executive class has been fixed at Rs 2,270. This also includes Rs 369 for catering. It is not mandatory to take food in Vande Bharat. Catering charges are not taken from the passengers who do not want to take food facility
1085 (Ajmer-delhi Vande Bharat Express Fare) if you travel in chair car of 20977 Ajmer-Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat Express. It also includes Rs 142 catering charge. Similarly, for executive class you will have to pay Rs 2075. This amount also includes Rs 175 catering charge. Meaning that you will also have food available in this fare.
