New Vande Bharat Express: Vande Bharat Express train will soon run on this route, know the route and other special things

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to flag off India’s 17th Vande Bharat Express train very soon. This train will run between Howrah-Puri. While Odisha will get the gift of semi-high speed train for the first time, there will be a second train for West Bengal.

Route of Howrah-Puri Vande Bharat Express

Vande Bharat train will run between Howrah and Puri. During the trial, the train halted for two minutes each at Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur-Keonjhar Road, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar and Khurda stations.

502 kms in just 6 hours

With the introduction of Vande Bharat Express, a semi-high speed train between Howrah and Puri, the distance of 502 kilometers will be covered in a very short time. Vande Bharat will take only 6 hours to cover this distance.

Trial run of Vande Bharat Express completed on Howrah-Puri route

In West Bengal, the second train of Vande Bharat was successfully trialled on the Howrah-Puri busy route. A railway official said that as part of the trial run, the train left Howrah station in West Bengal at 6.10 am and reached Puri within six hours.

Features of Vande Bharat train

Passenger security has been enhanced in the Vande Bharat Express train with indigenous automated train security system ‘Kavach’, CCTV cameras in all coaches and automatic ‘sliding’ doors. According to it, modern facilities like disabled-friendly toilets, seat handle numbers in Braille script, LED lights and 360-degree rotatable seats are other features.
