These routes have been approved. Now its Detailed Project Report (DPR) will be prepared by North Central Railway. Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra had held an online meeting on Monday regarding connectivity.
In this, officers of NCRTC and North Central Railway along with all the three authorities of the district participated. In this meeting, there was discussion on connecting Noida Airport with railways. Yamuna Authority had earlier sent a proposal to the Railway Ministry to connect Noida Airport by rail.

In the meeting, it was agreed to connect the airport with Delhi-Howrah and Delhi-Mumbai railways. For this, two routes will be built and a big railway station will be built in Jewar. Its DPR will be prepared by North Central Railway. Actually, Railways is already working on this, so the DPR is expected to be ready in the next two months.
Dedicated freight corridor will also be added
With the construction of the new railway line, it will become easier for the residents of Jewar to reach all the states including Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Haryana, Rajasthan. There is also a dedicated freight corridor parallel to the Delhi-Kolkata railway line. It will be connected to the proposed new railway line near Chola railway station. Eastern and Western dedicated freight corridors are available in New Dadri.
Air cargo will benefit
A cargo terminal is being built on the eastern side of Noida Airport. Transportation of goods through railway track will become easier till Chola station. Cargo of Delhi-Howrah and Delhi-Mumbai railways will also be able to reach the airport.
Special trains can be run till Delhi
With the help of this railway corridor, special trains can be run from Noida Airport to Anand Vihar Delhi via Chola.
Arbiter Rail will also connect to Noida Airport
Arbiter train is to be run around Delhi. This Orbiter Rail will also pass through Noida Airport. This will also be connected to the proposed railway station in Jewar.

In this way the stations will be interconnected
1. A line will come from Palwal to connect the airport with the Delhi-Mumbai railway line. Railways is already working on this. This line will be built from Palwal to Jewar Airport via Khurja. Its distance is about 55 kilometers. Noida Airport is 27.6 kilometers from Palwal.
2. To connect Noida Airport with Delhi Howrah Railway, a line will be laid till Chola Railway Station. This corridor will be about 20 kilometers long. With its construction the airport will be connected to the Delhi-Howrah route. Noida Airport will be connected to Chola and Khurja railway stations at two places on the Delhi-Howrah railway line.
