This decision has been taken in view of the increasing road accidents in the city. Visakhapatnam District Collector, District Road Safety Committee Chairman Harendheera Prasad and City Police Commissioner Shankhabrata Bagchi have recently held a meeting. He said that if you do not follow these rules, you may have to face many difficulties.
This action will be taken for not wearing helmet
According to media reports, Visakhapatnam police says that if anyone does not follow this rule, a fine of Rs 1035 will be imposed on him. Not only this, the license of those who break the rule can also be suspended for three months. Instructions were also given regarding the quality of helmets. Only ISI marked helmets should be worn. If anyone wears a poor quality helmet, action will be taken against him. Let us tell you that in big cities like Delhi, Mumbai, the rule of wearing helmet is strictly enforced even for pillion riders on scooters and bikes. In many cities, a fine is imposed only for not wearing a helmet to the two-wheeler driver.
