Every year, the railways releases a new timetable for trains from July 1, but this time it did not happen. After this, a new timetable was proposed for the first week of October, but now it has also been postponed.
The timings of trains will change from January 1. The new timetable of trains which was to be implemented in the first week of October has been extended by the railways for three months once again. Bareilly-Mumbai Vande Bharat Sleeper, Saharanpur-Prayagraj Vande Bharat Express will also get a place in the new timetable. Apart from this, the timings of Meerut-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express will also be changed.
Every year, the railways releases a new timetable for trains from July 1. This time, no new timetable was released in July. During this time, two Vande Bharat Expresses were also adjusted via Bareilly. Four new trains were also started operating on the Pilibhit-Mailani-Lucknow rail line.
Vande Bharat is also included in the new timetable
. Delays have increased due to adjustment of new and festival special trains in the old timetable. Bareilly-Mumbai Vande Bharat Sleeper via Bareilly three days a week and Saharanpur-Prayagraj Vande Bharat Express six days a week are also proposed. These trains are also to be given place in the new timetable.
Railway is reviewing the operation of Amrut Bharat Express, Vande Bharat Express, Vande Bharat Sleeper trains in all zones and divisions. Ways are also being found out to deal with the delay of trains. Due to the review, new timetable was not issued first on July 1 and later on October 1. Now it will be implemented from January 1.
Timings of trains cancelled for three months will also change
; Railway has cancelled 14 regular trains from December 1 to February 28 due to fog season. The number of trips of 28 trains have been reduced. Regular operation of all these trains will now start again from February 1 to 7 on the new timetable. Timings of new trains adjusted in the old timetable will also be changed.
Izzatnagar division’s PRO Rajendra Singh said that this time the new timetable of trains will be implemented from January 1. Operation of some other trains including two Vande Bharat trains via Bareilly is also proposed. Many trains are being run by adjusting them in the old timetable. This time the new timetable will be implemented from January 1.
