The price of foreign liquor has increased by Rs 200. The Excise and Taxation Department has released new prices of liquor for the year 2025-26.
Actually, the Excise and Taxation Department of the Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu government of Himachal Pradesh has released new prices of liquor for the year 2025-26. In which there has been an increase of Rs 200 per bottle as compared to last year. You will have to pay Rs 200 more to buy a bottle of liquor.
Let us tell you that in the current financial year, due to increase in base price in the auction of liquor shops, the government had to take a U-turn from MMC to MRP after just one year. Apart from this, it is mandatory to put up the rate list of liquor on all liquor shops. Along with this, it will be mandatory to write the contact number of the excise inspector. Action will also be taken against businessmen who do not do this.
