New Honda Car: Honda Cars India is soon going to launch its first car of this year in the Indian market. This car India will be the facelift version of the very popular sedan car Honda City. Honda will launch this best selling car with new design updates as well as some new features and new variants.
The 2023 Honda City rivals the Skoda Slavia, Volkswagen Virtus, Hyundai Verna and the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz. It is a very popular car in India. It is also known as the cheapest premium luxury car. Here we are telling about all the important features available in the 2023 Honda City model.
How will the new Honda City be?
The fifth generation Honda City was launched in India in July 2020. Now the new front and rear designed bumpers can be seen in the upcoming new model. Along with this, new alloy wheels will be seen. On the inside, the new sporty looking ventilised seat and wireless along with many luxury modern features can also be seen in the car. Apart from this, the company can make some changes in the City variant. Honda may now add hybrid system to some more of its models.
Engine and gearbox
There will be no mechanical change in the new model of Honda City. Now its diesel model will not be launched. The new Honda City will see a 1.5-liter petrol engine, which will generate 119 bhp power and 145 Nm torque. There will also be a choice of 6-speed manual and automatic gearboxes. It will also get a 1.5-litre hybrid engine, which will be mated to two electric motors. Its power output and mileage will be slightly higher than the normal petrol engine.
What will be the cost?
The new model of Honda City can be launched in the next month i.e. March. However, the company has not yet disclosed the date. Currently, the price of the petrol model of the Honda City ranges from Rs 11.87 lakh to Rs 15.62 lakh, while the price of the hybrid model is Rs 19.89 lakh, ex-showroom. From this it can be inferred that the price of Honda City with new features may be a bit higher.
