New E-challan system: Big news! Government changes important rules for two wheeler drivers before New Year

According to the new rules, if two-wheeler drivers are found without helmets, a heavy fine will be levied by the traffic department. This means that a small mistake can cost people dearly.

A new rule has been implemented by the traffic department in Maharashtra. The traffic rules have been changed after the Fadnavis government came to power. Now two-wheeler drivers will be immediately fined if they violate these rules.

E-challan system

Maharashtra Traffic Department has become strict about traffic rules. Ignoring the rules can prove costly for drivers. Now e-challan machines have been placed under two different categories. One has been placed for two-wheeler drivers and the other for pillion riders. Arrangement has been made to issue e-challan immediately to these people for not wearing helmets.

How much will the challan be deducted

Let us tell you that at present the government has fixed a fine of Rs 1000 for ignoring the rule of wearing helmet. But if a driver is found ignoring this rule three times in a row, then the process of cancelling his license can be completed.
