The work of land survey in Bihar is going on rapidly. Initially it seemed to be a very difficult task but keeping in mind the convenience of the land owners, the Revenue Department has made it very easy. Its rules are being changed every day, so that those who take land on contract do not have to face any kind of problem. Now another change has been made in this regard. Now one can apply for land survey in Bihar without genealogy. The condition of giving genealogy while applying during land survey has now been abolished.
Now this is how the genealogy will be submitted.
Earlier, there was a provision to submit the genealogy while applying for land survey. But now the application can be submitted without the genealogy. However, the genealogy will have to be submitted to complete the survey work. When the Amin goes to your field to check and measure the land encroachment, then you will have to submit the genealogy to the Amin. Only after this will the further action be able to proceed. If there is any discrepancy in the final report of the survey during this time, the land lease holders will have the right to claim and object.
The time limit has also been extended…
The Revenue and Land Reforms Department is not only relaxing the documents but is also giving relief to the tenants in the time limit. Now the time for making the Kishtwar work i.e. village map has been extended from 30 days to 90 days. Similarly, the time for distributing the Khanpuri pamphlet has been extended from 15 days to 30 days and the time for filing claims and objections on it has been extended from 30 days to 60 days. It is mandatory for all people to apply for the survey online or offline by March, so that the survey work can start at the ground level from April 1.
