NEET exam has been surrounded by controversies since the beginning. After a large number of toppers and grace marks, this matter has reached the Supreme Court. NTA had conducted its re-examination on 23 June. NEET-UG counseling was to be held from 6 July i.e. today. But the counseling has now been postponed. Now the new date will be announced soon. Counseling has been postponed till further orders. However, till now the counseling was expected to be held on 6 July.

There has been a controversy ever since the results of the NEET exam conducted by NTA were declared. Grace marks were given to 1563 students, after which the issue of rigging started coming up. The Supreme Court had conducted a re-examination on 23 June. Out of 1563 students, only 813 students appeared for the exam again. Counselling of students who have passed the re-examination is to be done. But the counselling to be held today has been postponed.
