To improve connectivity between these two stations, e-rickshaws are available under shuttle service, which will ferry passengers from one station to another free of cost during peak hours and ensure comfortable, safe and hassle-free travel for passengers. Ghaziabad Namo Bharat Station is located at Meerut Mod Tiraha on Ghaziabad-Meerut road, which is between major roads.

NCRTC Ghaziabad Namo Bharat: You have to cross the road in an unsafe manner

The Meerut Mor Tiraha area witnesses a large number of pedestrians on a daily basis, especially thousands of residents of Ghaziabad who pass through the Meerut Road Tiraha for work and other daily activities. Apart from this, the nearby Shaheed Sthal Naya Bus Adda metro station also has a lot of passenger traffic. However, due to the lack of direct connectivity between the two stations, passengers have to cross the road in an unsafe manner to reach the metro station.

Foot over bridge is being constructed

NCRTC has started this shuttle service in view of the increasing traffic and giving priority to the safety and convenience of passengers. In the near future, Shaheed Sthal, New Bus Adda Metro Station will be connected to Namo Bharat Station through a foot-over bridge, ensuring safe and easy access. Currently, the construction of this foot-over bridge is in progress. During this time, this shuttle service will be available to ensure uninterrupted service for passengers.

On which routes will these electric buses run

NCRTC is actively working with feeder operators, cab services, auto-rickshaw and bike-taxi service providers to improve last mile connectivity for the convenience of passengers on the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Namo Bharat Corridor. Electric buses operated by Ghaziabad City Transport Services Limited are already providing last mile connectivity at all Namo Bharat stations in Ghaziabad.

These buses run on seven different routes including Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, DPS Rajnagar Guldhar, Duhai, Murad Nagar, Modi Nagar South and Modi Nagar North stations. Along with this, taxi services by mobility partners are also available for passengers, some of which also offer discounts for NaMo Bharat Train passengers.
