Crorepati Mutual Fund: The easiest way to invest in mutual funds is through Systematic Investment Plan (SIP). This is a long term investment process. It gives the benefit of compounding. There are many mutual fund schemes in the market, in which one can become a crorepati by investing through SIP. One such fund is Tata Equity PE Fund – Regular Plan. This fund created a corpus of more than Rs 1 crore by doing a monthly SIP of Rs 7000 for 20 years.
If one had done a SIP of Rs 7,000 every month in Tata Equity PE Fund – Regular Plan since its launch, the corpus would have grown to Rs 1.64 crore at a CAGR of 16.10%, with a total investment amount of Rs 16 lakh in 20 years.
The scheme was launched in the year 2000.
It has given a return of 18.49 percent since its inception. In the last 10 years, this scheme has given a return of 13.87 percent. As of January 26, 2025, the asset under management (AUM) of the fund is Rs 8,083.45 crore.
Where has the scheme invested?
This multibagger mutual fund scheme includes shares of major companies like HDFC Bank, Bharat Petroleum Corporation, Wipro, Radico Khaitan and Coal India. By December 2024, this plan had 93.74 per cent investment in equity and 6.26 per cent in cash and cash equivalents.
