EPFO said that they have transferred the interest money to 28 crore accounts. In February 2024, the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has announced the interest rate for the Provident Fund for the financial year 2023-24. EPFO has increased the interest rate for 2023-24 from last year’s 8.15% to 8.25%. Here we are telling you to whose account EPFO has transferred the EPF interest money.

When will interest be credited to EPF account for FY24?
Many EPF members are curious to know when they will get the EPF interest for the financial year 2023-24. EPF has stated this in response to a member’s question on social media platform X. EPFO has written that the process is in the pipeline and soon it will be visible in your account. Whenever interest is credited, it will be credited and full payment will be made. There will be no loss of interest.

- Through EPFO member passbook portal
- Visit the official EPFO Member Passbook portal.
- Enter your UAN and password to sign in.
- Select the PF account you want to view.
- Click on View PF Passbook for all transactions. Here you will get the balance.

SMS: If your Universal Account Number (UAN) is linked to a registered mobile phone number, you can send an SMS to 7738299899. Here you can also choose your language. Within a few seconds of sending the message, you will get your current EPF balance information through SMS.
Missed Call: If your Universal Account Number (UAN) is linked to a registered mobile number, you can give a missed call to 011-22901406. After which the call will be disconnected automatically and you will get your EPF information through SMS.
