Online Application Process
- Visit the NSDL website: NSDL PAN Service.
- Select “New PAN – Indian Citizen (Form 49A)” and select “Individual”.
- Fill in the name of the minor, contact details of the parents and click on “Submit”.
- Select the option to upload the required documents and select the physical PAN card if required.
- Fill in the details of the minor and parents, then upload the documents.
- Pay the application fee through debit card, credit card or net banking.
- After making the payment, you will get an identification number.
- If you have opted for submitting physical documents, send the documents to the Income Tax PAN Seva Unit located in Pune.
Documents required for minor PAN card
Proof of age: Aadhar card, birth certificate, passport, or school marksheet.
Proof of address: Passport, voter ID, Aadhar card, or utility bill less than 3 months old.
Offline Application Process
