Luggage Rules In Delhi Metro: If you travel in Delhi Metro, then you should know how much kilograms of weight you can carry with you.
A huge network of metro is spread in Delhi. You will easily get metro train to travel anywhere from every major area of Delhi. For this reason, the metro is also called the lifeline of Delhi city. The network of Delhi Metro is not limited to Delhi but it is spread in many areas like Ghaziabad, Noida, Gurugram etc. Delhi Metro is counted among the busiest and efficient means of transport in the country.
Traveling in Delhi Metro is quite convenient as compared to traveling in any other means of transport. Not only this, many rules have also been made in Delhi Metro keeping in mind the convenience of the passengers. If you also travel in Delhi Metro, then you should know about how many kilograms of weight you can carry with you.
If you are travelling in Delhi Metro, you can carry up to 25 kg of weight with you. However, earlier this limit was 15 kg. It has now been increased from 15 kg to 25 kg.
Along with the weight, the size limit of luggage has also been fixed in Delhi Metro. The size of the bag you are bringing with you in Delhi Metro should not be more than 80 cm x 50 cm x 30 cm. There is a ban on carrying a bag larger than this size.
Delhi Metro is operated by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation. Every day more than 10 lakh people from Delhi NCR travel in it. It is the largest metro rail service in India.
You cannot carry explosives or chemical substances with you while traveling in Delhi Metro. If you are caught traveling with these things, action can be taken against you.
