Metro corridor connecting Botanical Garden to Aqua Line gets approval

Noida. An important cabinet meeting was held on Tuesday (25 June) under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. A total of 44 proposals from various departments were presented in this meeting, out of which 43 proposals were approved.

At the same time, there is good news for the people of Noida. The UP Cabinet has approved the DPR of Noida’s 11.56 km long new Aqua Line Metro Corridor. Under this, a new corridor will be constructed from Sector 142 of Aqua Line to Botanical Garden.

8 metro stations will be built under the new metro corridor to be built from Sector-142 to Botanical Garden. Once it is built, connectivity between Greater Noida and Delhi will increase and travel will become easier.

There will be 8 stations in the new corridor of Aqua Line:

1. Botanical Garden
2. Noida Sector-44
3. Noida Office (Sector-96 Noida Authority Office)
4. Noida Sector-97
5. Noida Sector-105
6. Noida Sector-108
7. Noida Sector-93
8. Panchsheel Balak Inter College

Features of the new metro corridor

  • Length: 11.56 km
  • Interchange: Sector 142 Metro Station
  • Total cost: Rs 2254.35 crore
  • Number of stations: 8

These proposals of UP Industrial Development Department got approval-

  • 11 units closed due to debt were given relief under the OTS scheme
  • 4 more centers of excellence will be established under the startup policy
  • The proposal to give 371.91 acres of land free of cost to UPSIDA in many districts of UP was approved
  • Land given for industrial node in Agra and Prayagraj
  • Samsung will get Rs 207 crore as capital subsidy
  • 9 companies were given NOC for investment of about 5 thousand crores
