The scheme of Mahila Samridhi Yojana can be launched soon in Delhi. The state government has started preparations in this regard. The state CM Rekha Gupta has held a meeting with the officials.

Along with this, instructions have been issued to decide the rules and conditions of this scheme. The Prime Minister of the country Narendra Modi had announced during the elections that the first installment of this scheme will be released to the women of Delhi on March 8 on Women’s Day. In such a situation, it is very important for women to know about this scheme to take advantage of it.

According to the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Sankalp Patra, this scheme is only for poor women. However, it has not been decided yet how much annual income families will be included in this scheme. In some BJP ruled states like Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, this limit has been kept at Rs 2.50 lakh per annum.

These documents will be required for Mahila Samridhi Yojana

Aadhar card

Generally, Aadhaar card is required in most government schemes. Hence, women will need Aadhaar card in Mahila Samridhi Yojana.

Bank Account

Under this scheme, Rs 2,500 will be sent directly to the beneficiary’s bank account. Therefore, it is very important to have a bank account. If you do not have a bank account, open it as soon as possible. Along with this, also ensure that your bank account should be linked to Aadhaar.

Income Certificate

BJP had already clarified in its manifesto that this scheme is for women from poor families. Hence, income certificate may be required to prove eligibility.

Ration Card

Ration card may also be required for eligibility verification in such schemes.

The chances of these women getting benefits are very less

Women who pay income tax or avail other pension facilities may also be declared ineligible for this scheme. Women with government jobs (permanent or temporary) will also not get the benefit of the scheme.
