Lucknow Airport: International flights will start from Lucknow’s Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport from Saturday, June 8. Till now, only domestic flights were being operated from Terminal 3 of Amausi Airport.
Flights will start taking off and landing from here from 6 am on Saturday. First of all, international flights of Fly Dubai, Air India Express and Indigo Airlines will depart from Terminal 3 on the first day. Till now, international flights are being operated from Terminal 1.
Different companies have started setting up their boarding counters for international flights at Terminal 3 of Lucknow Airport. The companies that have set up counters so far include Indigo Airlines, Air India Express, Saudi Airlines, Oman Air, Thai Air Asia, Flynas, Salam Air and Fly Dubai. These companies have shifted their boarding counters as well as immigration and custom offices.
The countries to which flights are operated from Lucknow till now are Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Dammam, Jeddah, Muscat, Riyadh, Ras Al Khaimah and Bangkok. Terminal 3 was inaugurated by the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 10. According to information, the first phase of Terminal 3 has been built at a cost of about Rs 2400 crore.

Its capacity is 80 lakh passengers per year, while the work on the second phase is underway and after the completion of the second phase, the capacity will increase to 1 crore 30 lakh passengers per year. According to a statistic, Terminal 3 will provide employment to more than 13,000 people.
