LPG Gas Cylinder Subsidy: LPG cylinder subsidy worth crores of rupees has been transferred to the account of LPG connection holders on behalf of the government.
Recently, on behalf of the Ashok Gehlot government of Rajasthan, it was announced to give LPG cylinder for Rs.500 to the beneficiaries of ‘PM Ujjwala Yojana’. The government implemented this scheme from the new financial year i.e. 1st April. For this, the Indira Gandhi Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme is being run by the state government. In this, gas cylinders are being made available to the beneficiaries by the government for just Rs.500.
14 lakh beneficiaries got money
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot inaugurated the first phase of ‘Indira Gandhi Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme’ in the beneficiary festival program. Under this, the CM has transferred Rs 60 crore to the bank accounts of 14 lakh beneficiaries. Under the scheme, 12 cylinders will be given at the rate of Rs 500 in a year. After this, the beneficiary will have to pay the normal price to get the cylinder. On this occasion, the Chief Minister said, see – he did what he said, fulfilled his promise.
Fulfilling the promise of Rs 500 per cylinder,
Ashok Gehlot launched the Indira Gandhi Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme at the Beneficiary Festival keeping the promise of giving the cheapest cylinder in the country at Rs 500. He transferred the subsidy amount to the accounts of 14 lakh LPG consumers within a few seconds by pressing a button written on his Twitter handle.
He said that our aim is to provide benefits to 76 lakh needy families.
The scheme started from April 1, 2023, let us tell you that the Rajasthan government has promised to provide gas cylinders to the beneficiaries of Ujjwala Yojana for Rs.500. This scheme has been started by the government from 1 April 2023. If you are a resident of Rajasthan and the subsidy money did not come in your account, then tell you that it is necessary to link the account with Aadhaar, the subsidy amount will come directly to your bank account.
You have to pay the full price of the cylinder at the time of booking and delivery of the cylinder. Later, the government will return the subsidy money to all the beneficiaries in one go, according to whatever money is more than Rs 500 per cylinder. You can understand it in such a way that if the price of a gas cylinder is Rs 1103, then you will pay the full amount to the delivery company. But the state government will refund the amount above Rs.500 i.e. Rs.603 to you as subsidy. This money will come to your Aadhaar linked bank account.
