He pointed out that domestic LPG cylinders can be sold at “even more affordable rates” if the international price of the fuel comes down from the current price of $750 per metric ton. Rs 1053 gas price in Delhi
Responding to DMK MP Kalanidhi Veeraswamy’s question in the Lok Sabha on the price of domestic LPG, Puri said the government is sensitive to the needs of consumers, especially those from the most vulnerable sections. Puri said that the retail selling price (RSP) of a domestic LPG cylinder (14.2 kg) is Rs 1053 in Delhi.
The government did not increase the prices in Saudi Arabia, an increase of more than 330 percent has been recorded in the prices of gas, but the government has increased the prices of cooking gas very little in comparison.
