LPG Cylinder Price Reduced: Prime Minister Modi, while giving a gift to women on the occasion of International Women’s Day i.e. 8 March 2024, announced a reduction in the price of LPG Cylinder by Rs 100. While sharing this information on social media platform X on Friday, PM Modi shared the information about reducing the price of LPG cylinder. After this announcement made by the PM, the new rates of LPG cylinders have come into effect from March 9, 2024 i.e. Saturday. In such a situation, customers will start getting the benefit of this discount from today.
How much will the cylinder cost?
Earlier in the capital Delhi, general customers were getting LPG cylinder for Rs 903, which has now reduced to Rs 803. Whereas the beneficiaries of PM Ujjwala Yojana are getting subsidy of Rs 300 per cylinder. With this, after getting a discount of Rs 100, it will be available at Rs 503 per cylinder instead of Rs 603.

Financial burden on people will be reduced
While sharing the update about increasing the prices of cylinders, Prime Minister Modi said that this will make the life of women power easier and will reduce the financial burden on crores of families of the country. A day before this, approval was given to increase the subsidy on LPG cylinders for a year.
