Will gas cylinder be cheaper?

Talking about February, the prices of commercial gas cylinders had come down by Rs 7 on February 1. At the same time, it is now expected that the prices of commercial gas cylinders may also come down in the month of March. Let us tell you that no change was made in the price of 14 kg domestic gas cylinder.

Fuel prices may come down

Just like gas cylinders, new prices of ATF or Air Turbine Fuel are issued by oil distribution companies on the first of every month. In such a situation, changes in the prices of aviation fuel can also be seen on March 1, 2025. It is believed that the price of ATF may decrease this month. Let us tell you that airline companies change their fares according to the price of ATF.

Changes related to UPI

From March 1, 2025, there is going to be a change in the Unified Payment Interface (UPI), which will make the payment of insurance premium even easier. A new feature called Insurance-ASB (Application Supported by Block Amount) is being added to the UPI system. Through this, life and health insurance policyholders will be able to block money in advance for their premium payment. After the approval of the policyholder, the money will be automatically deducted from the account. Regarding this, IRDAI had issued a circular on February 18 and its objective is to reduce the delay in insurance payment.

10 nominees in mutual fund account

From the first date, there may be a change in the rules related to adding nominees in mutual fund and demat accounts. Under this, an investor can add a maximum of 10 nominees in a demat or mutual fund folio. In this regard, the new guidelines of market regulator SEBI may come into effect from March 1, 2025. The purpose of this change is to reduce unclaimed assets and ensure better investment management. For this, it will be necessary to provide complete details of the nominee such as phone number, email, address, Aadhaar number, PAN number, driving license number.

Banks will remain closed for 14 days

Actually, according to the RBI Bank Holiday List, banks will remain closed for 14 days in this month of festivals including Holi (Holi 2025) and Eid-ul-Fitr. These include the second and fourth Saturdays as well as Sunday weekly holiday. However, despite the bank holiday, you can transact money or settle other banking work through online banking and ATM. These services will remain operational 24 hours a day.
