LPG Cylinder Price: Almost everyone is troubled by the increased domestic LPG gas prices in the country. Its prices have bankrupted the people.
The central government had increased the prices of domestic LPG by Rs 50 per cylinder on March 1, after which the average price in the country had crossed Rs 11,00. Since then, there has been no reduction in the prices of domestic LPG cylinders.
People have hoped from the government that soon it will give relief from its price. However, even though the people of the country are buying domestic gas at an expensive price. But the people of Rajasthan are now going to get rid of this. Now the people here will get domestic gas cylinder for Rs.500 instead of Rs.1150.
People will get subsidy of Rs 500 in 1150
In fact, the Ashok Gehlot-led Congress government of Rajasthan is going to start the first phase of the Indira Gandhi Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme on Monday with the aim of providing relief to the people of the state from the increased gas prices. People coming under this scheme will now get LPG cylinder for Rs.500 instead of Rs.1150 for domestic gas. Under this, the government will transfer subsidy directly to the bank accounts of 14 lakh target consumers. This subsidy amount will be Rs 60 crore.
CM Gehlot will hold dialogue
Beneficiary festival has been organized on June 5 in all 33 districts of Rajasthan on Indira Gandhi Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme. CM Gehlot will interact with the beneficiaries from ‘ Rajasthan International Center ‘ under the organization of Beneficiary Festival . The state government is providing gas cylinders for Rs 500 to 76 lakh people of the state through the Indira Gandhi Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme.
CM announced the plan in the budget
Let us tell you that the state government had announced the Indira Gandhi Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme in its budget for the year 2023-24. Under this scheme, the government will provide Rs 500 subsidy to the beneficiaries. In this scheme, the beneficiaries of the central government’s Ujjwala scheme and gas connection holders of BPL category are eligible, which is a total of 76 lakh beneficiaries.
This scheme has come into force in the state from April 1, 2023. For this scheme, the government is setting up dearness relief camps and giving people the facility to register. According to the information received, so far 48.63 lakh families have been registered under the Indira Gandhi Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme in Rajasthan.
Domestic LPG gas price in other parts of the country
At the same time, in many states of the country, the price of domestic LPG gas cylinder is crossing Rs 1100. Last March, the oil companies had increased it by Rs 50. After this increase, this cylinder is priced at Rs 1340 in Leh, Rs 1260 in Aizawl, Rs 1108.5 in Bhopal, Rs 1103 in Delhi, Rs 1102.5 in Mumbai and Rs 1140.5 in Lucknow. Whereas in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, it is being sold at Rs 1106.5 per cylinder.
