The government has started rationing of LPG. Under this, now the consumers of LPG cylinder will be able to take only 15 cylinders in a year. Along with this, the quota of the month has also been fixed. In this way, a consumer will not get more than 2 cylinders in a month.
Out of these 15 LPG gas cylinders, 12 gas cylinders will be subsidized and 3 will be non-subsidised. Till now there was no quota fixed for the month or year to get the cylinder. For this, the software for booking gas cylinders has changed. That is, now gas cylinders will be given only under the new system.
It is being told that the government has taken this step on the basis of complaints, according to which domestic non-subsidised refills were being used as they were cheaper than commercial ones.
According to the information, complaints have been received that the use of domestic non-subsidy has increased in the refill of small gas cylinders. The biggest reason for this is that commercial gas cylinders are very expensive at this time, due to which people are using domestic gas cylinders. A new system has been implemented to prevent this error.
