First the votes of ballot papers are being counted and then the votes of EVM will be counted. Along with Rajasthan, votes are being counted on all the Lok Sabha seats across the country today. By noon it will be clear who will rule the country for the next five years.

There are 25 Lok Sabha seats in Rajasthan – Ganganagar, Bikaner, Churu, Jhunjhunu, Sikar, Jaipur Rural, Jaipur, Alwar, Bharatpur, Karoli-Dholpur, Dausa, Tonk-Sawai Madhopur, Ajmer, Nagaur, Pali, Jodhpur, Barmer, Jalore, Udaipur, Banswara, Chittorgarh, Rajsamand, Bhilwara, Kota, Jhalawar-Baran. Voting was held in two phases in Rajasthan on 19 and 26 April. A total of 62.10 percent voting took place in 25 Lok Sabha seats of Rajasthan, which is about 4.25 percent less than the 2019 general elections.

All the exit polls for Rajasthan have predicted that the Bharatiya Janata Party may have to suffer some losses as compared to the 2019 and 2014 Lok Sabha elections. Exit polls predicted that the BJP will not be able to perform the miracle of 25-0 for the third time in a row. Congress, which lost the government last year, may capture some seats. According to the exit poll of India Today-Axis My India, the BJP may get 16-19 seats, while the Congress is expected to get 5-7 seats and others 1-2 seats. In Rajasthan, while the BJP gave a chance to many current MPs and Union Ministers, it also bet on new faces on some seats. The Congress party also tried its best to increase the difficulties of the BJP by fielding strong candidates according to the caste equation on many seats.

According to the update given by the Election Commission at 9:10 am, Congress is leading on 6 seats in Rajasthan while BJP is leading on 5 seats. According to the Election Commission, trends for a total of 11 seats have come so far.
